Interviews scheduled for superintendent candidates


The Knox County Board of Education has established the schedule below to conduct interviews with candidates for superintendent. The Board of Education will meet in called session immediately following the March 10 meeting to select finalists for the position and to establish a plan for site visits.

All interviews and the called meeting will be conducted in the first floor boardroom of the Andrew Johnson Building located at 912 S. Gay St.


Thursday, March 6
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Robert Thomas, Knox County Schools, Knoxville,Tennessee

5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Eric Williams, Collier County Public Schools,Naples, Florida

Friday, March 7
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. James McIntyre, Boston Public Schools, Boston,Massachusetts

Saturday, March 8
10:00 a.m. - Noon Brian Binggeli, Fairfax County Public Schools,Falls Church, Virginia

Monday, March 10
5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Donna Wright, Knox County Schools, Knoxville,Tennessee
